2 counters that passed the first 2 filters of Star Trading System yesterday failed to pass thru the 3rd and the last filter which is “Market Entry” filter. This is what I liked about Star Trading System. The signals must pass all criterias set at 3 check points which I called “Filter” before you could take the position. 2 counters that I have yesterday opened and moved in my preferred direction but it’s too aggressive. One of the signal is CIEN which opened at +1.39% level BUT closed at -0.98% (-0.26). The Star Trading System helped me from making a wrong move!

Today, my 1st Filter from Telechart 2007 gives me 2 Morning Star signals but later failed to pass thru my 2nd Filter. Look like no new trade for me today. Just need to monitor current position that I’m holding: TEX  HAWK USU 

Telechart gives me 16 Morning Stars from the scan today. My jobs will be lots easier today compared to yesterday when I have to work on 76 signals which all of them are Morning Stars. Once again, the “Ranking Method” helped me to pick only the high quality signals to concentrate on yesterday. I don’t think I need to use “Ranking Method” today as 16 signals are still managable.

After using “Criteria A - D” of The Star Trading System to filter out low quality signals, I’m now have 2 counters that I’ll focus for the trade today. It’s all depend on how these counters perform for the first hour of trading today. The “Market Entry Strategy” of The Star Trading System will decide whether go or no go!
